Support Worker
As a Support Worker you will provide direct, practical, and emotional support to adults, enabling them to live as independently as possible according to their personal support plan. This essential position assists service users with daily tasks, personal care, and accessing the community, always promoting dignity, choice, and respect.
The role requires adherence to all safeguarding protocols and regulatory standards, working as part of a team under the guidance of the Service Manager. Crucially, our Support Workers build positive, trusting relationships and champion person-centred care to ensure excellent quality of life outcomes.
Senior Support Worker
Senior Support Workers provide frontline leadership and expertise to the support team while continuing to deliver hands-on, person-centred care. This position acts as a key link between the management and care team, assisting with shift coordination, mentoring new staff, and ensuring adherence to care plans. The role conducts administrative duties such as auditing records and contributing to risk assessments, stepping up to manage the service operationally in the absence of the Service Manager. It is critical in maintaining the quality of daily support and modelling best practice for the entire care team.
Service Manager
Our Service Managers hold ultimate accountability for the operational, clinical, and regulatory success of our care and support services.
This position ensures the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care that meets and exceeds all CQC standards and achieves excellent outcomes for our service users. Core responsibilities include managing the service budget, overseeing quality assurance, and providing strategic leadership to our care and support team. This role serves as the safeguarding lead and primary driver for continuous improvement and excellence across all our service functions.
Registered Manager
Registered Manager holds the legal and regulatory responsibility for the registered care service, directly accountable to the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for compliance and quality standards.
This role ensures the service meets the CQC Fundamental Standards of Care, overseeing all aspects of operation, clinical governance, and safeguarding within the service. Key duties involve managing the regulatory relationship, developing and implementing quality improvement strategies, and ensuring robust recruitment and training processes.
Area Manager
The Area Manager holds regional accountability for the performance, quality, and financial sustainability of multiple registered care services across a defined geographical area. This strategic role manages and mentors a team of Service Managers, ensuring all services operate effectively, achieve high CQC ratings, and meet budgeted outcomes. The position involves driving business development, managing complex stakeholder relationships, and implementing company-wide policies and quality assurance frameworks. Ultimately, the Area Manager is responsible for maintaining consistency of outstanding care and growth across the operational region.
Central Services
This collective category encompasses the vital support functions that drive the operational backbone and strategic compliance of Allerton.
The Central Services team including, HR, Finance, IT, and Marketing, ensures all frontline Care and Support services are fully supported, regulated, and resourced.
Roles within this group manage critical business functions like employee lifecycle, financial governance, technology infrastructure, and brand visibility. Ultimately, Central Services professionals enable our care and support staff to focus entirely on delivering outstanding person-centred care through expert administrative and technical support.
